phathead Icon : (Today, 04:32 AM) The wife just informed me I need to get a haircut so we can be a good lookin' couple again :S
rhamm Icon : (Today, 01:23 AM) Initial media reports are usually wrong. I'll believe it when we have more info. I get tired of the 24 hour news cycle putting out info just to say they were first.
GreenBeret Icon : (Today, 12:51 AM) Was rwheele wearing a Jamie McMurray shirt?
rwheele Icon : (Today, 12:32 AM) Did you guys see the smartass little internet fuck named rwheele that got beatup by montoyafan?
rwheele Icon : (Today, 12:32 AM) Did you guys see the old guy that beat up the black thug on the bus?
Speedy28 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:14 PM) Ask Forrest Gump, he was right across the way
Brandynr Icon : (Yesterday, 10:59 PM) Impossible! Isn't Nixon the President?!? He'd NEVER break into anyplace!
JTM Icon : (Yesterday, 10:56 PM) I heard Nixon was involved in the break in at the Watergate Hotel. This could get interesting.
phathead Icon : (Yesterday, 10:05 PM) You fuckers, I didn't think to check the date on that Mr Rogers post...
rhamm Icon : (Yesterday, 08:57 PM) News is still sketchy but apparently someone broke into some offices there.
The Gasman Icon : (Yesterday, 08:38 PM) No, was it flooded?
rwheele Icon : (Yesterday, 08:34 PM) Did you guys hear about the break in at the watergate hotel?
Speedy28 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:29 PM) My rotors are bolted to my hubs. What a fucked up design. <_<
wlecount Icon : (Yesterday, 05:23 PM) Heimdall, I put new shocks and sway bar end links on the trailblazer last summer. Was one hell of an ordeal as I managed to get the wrong parts shipped to me for the rears, poor blazer what on jack stands for two weeks waiting on the correct ones to arrive.

Montoyafan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:45 PM) Cory Haim found dead in LA- Color me not surprised http://www.foxnews.c...hab-child-star/
Heimdall Icon : (Yesterday, 03:34 PM) Why was the control arm removed? From what I remember the hub bolts on to the spindle from the outside.
wlecount Icon : (Yesterday, 02:41 PM) Anyone want to come and put a new hub on my trailblazer. Last time I did something myself the front end folded in after a bolt worked itself loose on the upper control arm. Thankfully it did this in the driveway after a long day of driving around downtown.
Bassman Icon : (Yesterday, 02:25 PM) too much meth
Rook Icon : (Yesterday, 02:02 PM) You could tell he wasn't going to be around long from that show The Coreys or whatever it was.....he was strung out big time.

Peyton_1816 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:48 PM) NASCAR got what it wanted...about every news show has mentioned them since the"penalty " was announced. I just hope the don't get somebody killed in the name of ratings.
GoVols019 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 AM) What a load of shit!!! If Robby had done that he would have been banned for the rest of the year.
motormadness Icon : (Yesterday, 04:08 AM) That's because he is
The Gasman Icon : (Yesterday, 03:47 AM) I thought JFK Jr was dead?
phathead Icon : (Yesterday, 02:32 AM) uh oh, Jr caused a big wreck in the pro race just now lol
spamtastic Icon : (Yesterday, 12:22 AM) guy doesn't give you any breaks, don't give any back. That's just racing. Intentionally taking someone out like Carl did isn't racing, and if Nascar wants to live on that "drama", it's just all the more reason not to watch.
spamtastic Icon : (Yesterday, 12:18 AM) I think there is a difference in intentionally wrecking someone and just treating someone the way they treated you and not give them a break.
Bassman Icon : (Yesterday, 12:00 AM) I guarantee you I would have been suspended from TNT if I would have done that! Shit, I make Carl look like a child when it came to being in trouble! :)
The Gasman Icon : (09 March 2010 - 11:05 PM) The druggies are coming out of the woodworks.
wlecount Icon : (09 March 2010 - 11:03 PM) Wonderful news tonight, if we continue to use our gas range it will kill us! Damn thing is 4 months old and I had noticed the smell from natural gas. Had to call Vectren in to check it and the guy was dumbfounded how quickly the CO2 level rose and it wasn't burning all the gas. Time to get some bitching on to Frigidaire!
Hoss Lanier Icon : (09 March 2010 - 10:43 PM) Nascar on Facebook is just been unreal. People are really nuts... and very rude..... lol
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 10:13 PM) Jeremy Mayfield's former brother in law, suspended today for violating NASCAR's substance abuse policy...hmmm
wlecount Icon : (09 March 2010 - 09:42 PM) Well rwheele I hope your yard looks like shit! :)
Minted Llama Icon : (09 March 2010 - 09:26 PM) wreck might have been worse if K didn't turn over.
Minted Llama Icon : (09 March 2010 - 09:24 PM) Im glad he wasn't suspended. Fueds are interesting and it would suck for these guys to be afraid to have a Montoya/Stewart moment. Although I think it's also clear that now these guys are going to be a little more tactful and not do it at 195mph in a dogleg where (lowes arca race) drivers have been killed hitting that angled wall.
rwheele Icon : (09 March 2010 - 09:10 PM) By emailing his sponsors.
rwheele Icon : (09 March 2010 - 09:09 PM) I can penalize him.
LeoAmes Icon : (09 March 2010 - 08:58 PM) Just to clarify something, I don't care for him (Or Keselowski) or Penske Racing and Roush/Fenway Racing. And I think NASCAR made a poor decision today in not penalizing him. I just disagreed with a suspension in this case.
spamtastic Icon : (09 March 2010 - 08:57 PM) The only way you can defend Edwards is to look at who was involved rather than what happened. Which is otherwise known as bias.
rwheele Icon : (09 March 2010 - 08:51 PM) But this guy coulda killed someone and it's ok. I won't be buying Scott's products and I'm considering emailing them telling them such.
rwheele Icon : (09 March 2010 - 08:49 PM) There'd be fucking 14 screen caps supporting their argument.
rwheele Icon : (09 March 2010 - 08:48 PM) I question any of the Edwards defenders. I bet every one would want him suspended for a week from the league or whatever if this were online.
spamtastic Icon : (09 March 2010 - 08:16 PM) Pathetic on Nascar. Sometimes I wonder if they are just bored and want to see how much bullshit than push out and still get people to watch. I've seen more consistent officiating/rule following in profesional wrestling. Atleast then the ref has the common courtesy to pretend he didn't see it or know about it.
wlecount Icon : (09 March 2010 - 08:07 PM) I do heavily agree that they need to take a stand on these deliberate wrecks, especially these pit maneuver type spins. What ever happened to getting next to a guy and slamming doors, now they just want to give them alittle rear loving and spin them out of the way. Too afraid to damage the car they're driving. If your gonna get payback, do it like Scott Speed did two years back in ARCA and destroy both cars. http://tinylink.com/?J4weena9rm
LeoAmes Icon : (09 March 2010 - 07:55 PM) Penalize him while letting others get away with it in the past like Denny Hamlin sends a different message to me that tells the drivers that you're most likely going to be safe intentionally wrecking someone as long as the 1/100th chance of it being a spectacular wreck doesn't happen. Pretty good odds are that the next person that gets turned around on a fast speedway isn't going to be going for a flight. I think NASCAR should've heavily penalized him with points and a monetary fine while clarifying their stance from here on out that such incidents will result in suspension. Then they can be somewhat consistent with past instances like Homestead while still setting a new precedent for the future that hopefully deters such stupidity from surfacing again on a fast oval while hitting Edwards where it hurts with the loss of points that he's probably going to be desperate for by the Fall.
AdamB5000 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 07:41 PM) That is a good point, tj. A couple years ago Robby was in a shit-fan for throwing out a piece of frame padding to draw a caution.
B24S Icon : (09 March 2010 - 07:38 PM) I guess the only thing you can say in Nascar's defense is that as of this season they claim they are going to be more hands off. Now, whether or not the penalty in this case makes any sense or not (I personally think it warranted a suspension) they are going to have to be consistent with it, seems like a bad precedent to me, because like you guys said what is there to stop them from wrecking whoever they want whenever they want.
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 07:26 PM) Bob Pockrass brings up a good point. Wonder what the penalty will be for spinning yourself out to cause a caution of throwing something on the track to do the same. Because what Carl did intentionally brought out a caution too (and his intent was a lot worse)....
Bassman Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:50 PM) yup
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:49 PM) 25 points, $10,000 for saying "shit"
AdamB5000 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:44 PM) Didn't they once penalize Jr. points for saying "shit" in victory lane?
Bassman Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:42 PM) yea cant say "shit" but can purposely wreck a guy and down 160 laps
wlecount Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:42 PM) I personally didn't think they should suspend him, but I do believe they need to make it clear that this type of wrecking will not be tolerated. They told them to have at it and that's exactly what 1 driver did. They need to now make it clear that intentional wrecking like this will result in a suspension. Much like I discussed after the wreck happened was "why the hell is this car flying like this?", and for once they are concerned about the right thing. Or atleast part of the issue.
AdamB5000 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:41 PM) I've seen worse penalties for foul language or pushing another driver in the pits.
Hoss Lanier Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:31 PM) i posted on this facebook and got blasted. lol
Hoss Lanier Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:30 PM) http://www.facebook....!/NASCAR?ref=ts
Heimdall Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:02 PM) There's a lot I could say, but frankly, Nascar isn't worth the discussion anymore.
The Gasman Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:02 PM) You can be the instigator..
rhamm Icon : (09 March 2010 - 06:00 PM) Can I join iRacing to become an intentional wrecker?
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:59 PM) Hope so, There are some guys in iRacing I have to pay back (and told one guy not to go crying when I wreck his ass)
Peyton_1816 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:58 PM) NASCAR Really is like NR2003 now, will iRacing update the sporting code with this information
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:57 PM) If I'm Brad, I wreck Carl in practice on Lap 1
Peyton_1816 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:57 PM) double secret probation
Peyton_1816 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:57 PM) I can see it now in the chase Jimmy gets taken out...just because have at it boys
The Gasman Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:57 PM) I bet if he did something again he would be on double probation.
Peyton_1816 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:56 PM) No, shit with the lack of penalty you can pretty much just take whoever you want out
Hoss Lanier Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:55 PM) If I am penske, send another driver to wreck Carl or another Roush car....
rhamm Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:54 PM) They need AGF to help them work on the reverse aero modeling.
Peyton_1816 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:53 PM) stupid
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:49 PM) @KevinHarvick huh! suprised by the penalty or lack there of.....
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:47 PM) @RobbyGordon: Just heard the news. I wonder what would of happened to me in that situation? Hmmm someone playing favorites? :)
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:46 PM) I can deal with no suspension after Mike's explanation of "the bigger issue is why the car got airborne", but no fines, no points, and no probation for the rest of the year is an absolute joke
Hoss Lanier Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:45 PM) That's bullshit!!!!
tj_177 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:41 PM) Probation for 3 races only...NASCAR is a fucking joke
LeoAmes Icon : (09 March 2010 - 05:11 PM) We'll find out soon. I predict it will be a fine and a loss of points. I can recall many intentional spins, but never a driver having to sit out the following weeks race in Winston Cup for having turned someone during the previous week's Winston Cup event. I suspect what happened to Kevin Harvick and Robby Gordon was because something like the loss of points when they're not regulars in the truck series or Busch series would be a fairly meaningless penalty. The only way to do real harm to deter them from considering repeating a similar action in the future was to sit them out of a race that does matter.
The Gasman Icon : (09 March 2010 - 04:48 AM) NASCAR Rulebook Section 24: Actions Detrimental to lame movies result in a 2 race suspension.
JTM Icon : (09 March 2010 - 04:37 AM) Did Cole Trickle get suspended when he left pit road and intentionally hit Russ Wheeler on his victory lap?
spamtastic Icon : (09 March 2010 - 04:28 AM) That shit isn't even ok in Online racing when nobodies health is even in consideration. Good way to get banned from racing altogether. The only people who would even think of defending Carl are only looking at the drivers instead of what actually happened.
spamtastic Icon : (09 March 2010 - 04:25 AM) What Carl did was worse than what Robby Gordon or Kevin Harvick did and they both got suspended. Carl will be lucky if he is only suspended for 1 race.
JTM Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:59 AM) NASCAR is consistent at being inconsistent.
Rook Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:43 AM) Nascar, consistent? :lmao:
AdamB5000 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:41 AM) Well, it might just boil down to 'now that we see how bad the result can be, we better begin penalizing appropriately.'
LeoAmes Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:38 AM) We've seen just as poor decisions in the past, such as the driver that obviously turned someone on purpose and actually admitted to doing it because he needed a caution at the Winston a few years back. And it's not unique that a driver many laps down has came out and sought revenge with a blatent wreck. Sunday wasn't the first or the last time we've seen that.
AdamB5000 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:36 AM) But hey, lets focus on the 1:21.1 lap at I ran at Laguna 15 minutes ago. :)
AdamB5000 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:34 AM) It was poor decision that will be magnified for a few reasons: He was 160 laps down. It was with 5 to go. Keselowski was running 5th. It was the most blatant intentional wreck we've ever seen (hang a right on a straight that turns left). Car upside down due to high speeds. Admission in post race interview. All these reasons make it probably the worst thought out intentional wreck in the history of NASCAR. His brain must have stopped working because everything in the situation added up against him. Maybe Carl isn't as bright as I thought. The timing and conditions couldn't have been worse.
LeoAmes Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:25 AM) You can't start now. He didn't do anything worse then we've seen many times before that have gone without a suspension. He was just the unlucky one that had the situation develop into something scarier than we typically see. He needs to be penalized for his decision, lack of judgement, and the possible consequences of the risk he took for himself and Keselowski. The actual results should be irrelvant besides illustrating the dangers he accepted when he made that decision which every driver that has ever turned someone at a fast speedway has accepted. He didn't do anything worse then dozens of others have, and we've seen them almost universally not be forced to sit out a race as punishment in the past. Can't start now just because the worst case scenario came closer to happening. If it's deserving of a suspension, NASCAR needs to come out and state that such a poor decision in the future will result in a suspension unlike in the past.
AdamB5000 Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:21 AM) If he gets fined chump change then that sends a pretty clear message to other drivers: Wreck someone on purpose and get a slap on the wrist. It just so happens that the severity of the accident was much higher than Hamlin's deal last year. That's just life. Bark the loudest and more people notice.
LeoAmes Icon : (09 March 2010 - 03:19 AM) He shouldn't I think. NASCAR needs to be consistent. Edwards didn't take anymore of a unwise gamble then dozens of others have in the past such as Hamlin at Homestead last year. He shouldn't be penalized because the same poor decision making developed into something closer to the worst case scenario for the consequences of such a decision. Hamlin, Edwards, and dozens of others have made the same stupid decision in the past. Why should he be signled out?
