@  Minted Llama : (31 October 2014 - 02:54 AM) Yeah, I remember a thread now where he talked about racing with a joystick because of his gimp arm. Not sure where he is, maybe get Stud Pat on the case. Hopefully Joe wasn't from Decatur.
@  Rook : (31 October 2014 - 02:28 AM) I think I recall the 1 arm issue too
@  rhamm : (30 October 2014 - 11:14 PM) I heard he goes by idiotboy here and only has one good arm.
@  spacemunky : (30 October 2014 - 11:02 PM) He board raced didn't he? Sounds familiar. I was drunk a lot then. Still am.
@  Minted Llama : (30 October 2014 - 10:58 PM) Joe Wells was a prickly pear, and had something wrong with him. That's all I remember.
@  spamtastic : (30 October 2014 - 09:54 PM) ML probably knows, he seems to be an elephant for these kinds of things.
@  rwheele : (30 October 2014 - 09:51 PM) I dunno I just saw a guy on FB named Joe Wells and it reminded me.
@  spamtastic : (30 October 2014 - 09:50 PM) was he the guy in a wheel chair and stuff?
@  spamtastic : (30 October 2014 - 09:50 PM) sounds familiar
@  rwheele : (30 October 2014 - 09:48 PM) Wasn't there a guy named Joe Wells that used to Boardrace with us?
@  AdamB5000 : (30 October 2014 - 05:56 PM) The Glock must not be cocked before dismantling and the only safety is a 'trigger' located on the trigger. http://us.glock.com/...ion_trigger.jpg
@  nm2588 : (30 October 2014 - 05:36 PM) Mine has a safety switch. I just flip that up and it's good to go.
@  AdamB5000 : (30 October 2014 - 03:36 PM) I'll try that.
@  Heimdall : (30 October 2014 - 03:29 PM) And I'd recommend wearing a glove as some do have moving parts that can cut\pinch.
@  Heimdall : (30 October 2014 - 03:28 PM) ...
@  Heimdall : (30 October 2014 - 03:22 PM) Usually, once you are very sure there's no ammo left including in the chamber, hold the hammer/slide(depending on model) and release the trigger, allowing it to gently do its action. The reason just full release is frowned on is the mechanism is designed to absorb a lot of the recoil, no ammo it slams everything the other direction.
@  AdamB5000 : (30 October 2014 - 02:49 PM) I guess the question is, once I rack the slide to eject any ammo, what is the best way to remove the gun from the ready to fire position?
@  Rook : (30 October 2014 - 02:15 PM) Snapcaps is the way to go
@  AdamB5000 : (30 October 2014 - 01:40 PM) Glock says it is okay to do, just not frequently. http://us.glock.com/...mer-service/faq
@  Demon : (30 October 2014 - 01:32 PM) Technically, you should never dry fire a gun, it's bad for the pin. They have dummy shells for sale with spring-loaded detonators. Always wanted to get some for my guns but never got around to it.
@  AdamB5000 : (30 October 2014 - 11:56 AM) That is the procedure I learned when I clean my Glock. Dunno.
@  GoVols019 : (30 October 2014 - 11:37 AM) I've never dry fired a weapon.
@  spamtastic : (30 October 2014 - 07:13 AM) I remember a good bit, he was good back during the time when I actually followed baseball as a kid.
@  rhamm : (30 October 2014 - 04:20 AM) The only Jose play I remember is the home run off his head.
@  Minted Llama : (30 October 2014 - 12:52 AM) Good job Jose, good effort.
@  rwheele : (29 October 2014 - 11:00 PM) At least he still has his thumb so he can still tell people good job, but I dunno how he's gonna express displeasure.
@  nm2588 : (29 October 2014 - 06:01 PM) I don't read it, I clip the bullets in and then fire them out.
@  rhamm : (29 October 2014 - 05:49 PM) It has always bothered me when people say "lock and load". You really should load the gun before you lock it.
@  Rook : (29 October 2014 - 05:20 PM) It's a magazine not a clip
@  AdamB5000 : (29 October 2014 - 01:27 PM) There is nothing more basic than taking out the clip, racking the gun (with visual inspection) and dry firing to the ground before you clean.
@  nm2588 : (29 October 2014 - 01:12 PM) I always unload my gun if I'm going to clean it. Take out the clip and, if there is one in the chamber, I take that out. Safety on at all other times.
@  AdamB5000 : (29 October 2014 - 12:45 PM) "... while cleaning a gun." Yeah, they're always cleaning a gun when they shoot themselves.
@  spamtastic : (29 October 2014 - 04:45 AM) Oh, and Jose Canseco shot his middle finger off. :lmao:
@  spamtastic : (29 October 2014 - 04:42 AM)
@  Traveller : (29 October 2014 - 03:53 AM) It looks like the rocket exploded. I'm sure the Orbital folk will figure out exactly what happened.
@  spamtastic : (29 October 2014 - 01:27 AM) I like it on forums, but shoutbox is a bit much.
@  spamtastic : (29 October 2014 - 01:26 AM) hey ML, is it possible to take away the auto youtube conversion from the shoutbox?
@  spamtastic : (29 October 2014 - 01:26 AM) what happened traveller?
@  spacemunky : (28 October 2014 - 04:03 PM)
@  Rook : (28 October 2014 - 03:25 PM) Greenie will never die...he just smells that way
@  spacemunky : (28 October 2014 - 11:02 AM) Greenie!!!
@  Minted Llama : (28 October 2014 - 07:06 AM) we thought you had become a spirit, greenie. Glad they released you from hospice. we're at least a 5 shouts a day community... except for 10/15, it was a slow burner with a movie being discussed over a three day period.
@  GreenBeret : (28 October 2014 - 04:31 AM) spirit
@  GreenBeret : (28 October 2014 - 04:31 AM) Well there is a spiri in this old place afterall
@  spamtastic : (28 October 2014 - 04:11 AM) boooooo
@  GreenBeret : (28 October 2014 - 04:10 AM) Fuckin place is like a ghost town these days!!!
@  spamtastic : (28 October 2014 - 01:38 AM) I like the stuff before the chase. I don't give a shit if someone is "points racing". Even if that person doesn't win the race - someone always does. Someone with nothing to lose is going to go balls deep into a corner. Didn't need the chase to get that Craven/Busch finish at Darlington etc. Nascar is retarded.
@  Retnuhrace : (27 October 2014 - 11:53 PM) I've always thought that the "chase" should be a representative sample of the entire schedule. Therefore, there should be a road course in the chase. It would be awesome if they could throw all the tracks into a hat to determine the schedule of the 10 races, but then you'd run the risk of having a late season race in the northern part of the country, where cold/snow could be a problem.
@  rhamm : (27 October 2014 - 02:35 PM) It would be even more intenser if they ended the season at Talladega.
@  Minted Llama : (27 October 2014 - 08:44 AM) I like it... it's been intense. I think it's pretty gay that it ends at Homestead each year.
@  GoVols019 : (27 October 2014 - 03:56 AM) I think it's a stupid way to determine a "champion" but it sure seems to have put an end to the talk of points racing.
@  spamtastic : (27 October 2014 - 12:01 AM) I thought it was you are stupid if you still followed Nascar? j/k
@  spacemunky : (26 October 2014 - 11:41 PM) For fuck sakes what the fuck kinda system is that? I guess I'm too stoopid to even follow Nascar now.
@  rhamm : (26 October 2014 - 11:09 PM) They have the not playoffs now where they eliminate drivers every 3 races and I think 3 drivers have a chance to win the championship in the last race at Homestead based on whoever finishes best in that race. They took the chase and made it 10 times gayer. I didn't think that was possible.
@  GoVols019 : (26 October 2014 - 11:07 PM) Wish they would race every other week at Martinsville.
@  spacemunky : (26 October 2014 - 10:43 PM) Jr and Jimmie aren't in it? :weird:
@  spacemunky : (26 October 2014 - 10:40 PM) I haven't been following Nascar much, but according to Nascar.com there's only 8 drivers in the Chase?
@  rwheele : (26 October 2014 - 09:52 PM) Jjjjjoooooonnnnyyyyeeeeeeeerrrrrr!!!!
@  rhamm : (26 October 2014 - 08:58 PM) Kurt Busch is on fire
@  Heimdall : (26 October 2014 - 11:17 AM) A bit young? Another profession where a lot of them don't get that far. :/
@  SnakeBT6 : (26 October 2014 - 05:37 AM) RIP Jack Bruce..71 Years Old. A bit young but probably ran really hard for a few years back in the day.
@  Minted Llama : (26 October 2014 - 03:17 AM) If anything positive happens because of Kiffin it's purely accidental.
@  GoVols019 : (26 October 2014 - 02:55 AM) Damnit Ole Miss.
@  GoVols019 : (26 October 2014 - 02:21 AM) You shut your dirty mouth.
@  Rook : (26 October 2014 - 12:51 AM) Kiffin is making UT his bitch.....and probably giving Cooper the biletnikoff award at the same time
@  Rook : (25 October 2014 - 11:58 PM) They did score 82 points last year.....once......the basketball team
@  rhamm : (25 October 2014 - 11:27 PM) TCU's basketball team wishes they could score as many points as the football team in conference play.
@  spamtastic : (25 October 2014 - 09:49 PM) holy shit
@  Rook : (25 October 2014 - 09:44 PM) I don't WTF is up.....play calling has been very weird
@  spamtastic : (25 October 2014 - 08:44 PM) well, they were.
@  spamtastic : (25 October 2014 - 07:54 PM) Damn, glad we already played WVU, they are looking nasty now.
@  wishboneattack : (24 October 2014 - 08:36 PM) I got more points with Sanders than I did with Manning
@  wishboneattack : (24 October 2014 - 08:35 PM) I played Sanders... SUCK it Adam!... oh wait... scratch the suck it part I don't swing your way
@  spacemunky : (24 October 2014 - 04:35 PM) :moon:
@  AdamB5000 : (24 October 2014 - 02:46 PM) Posted Image
@  spacemunky : (24 October 2014 - 01:36 PM) Maybe if you ask nicely he'll move and let you sit down.
@  AdamB5000 : (24 October 2014 - 02:34 AM) Emmanuel Sanders is on my bench. :(
@  rwheele : (23 October 2014 - 11:02 PM) I keep those tight to the vest yo.
@  rhamm : (23 October 2014 - 09:16 PM) Michelle must not have an iPhone since there aren't any stolen pictures of her out there. She definitely seems like the type who would have those type pictures on here phone.

@  AdamB5000 : (23 October 2014 - 03:56 PM) .
@  Rook : (23 October 2014 - 03:50 PM) I wouldn't mind seeing her and Erin "team" up...
@  Heimdall : (23 October 2014 - 01:55 PM) The best I could find on Google.
@  spacemunky : (22 October 2014 - 11:47 PM) Can we look over her tits?
@  rhamm : (22 October 2014 - 10:45 PM) Thank God they only hire pretty women instead of the fat whales.
@  rwheele : (22 October 2014 - 10:14 PM) Let's not overlook her tits.
@  spamtastic : (22 October 2014 - 10:08 PM) She's not bad, I'm just saying they hire those pretty girls because they are pretty. I would say they wouldn't hire a man with the same knowledge, but they pay Skip Clueless.
@  rwheele : (22 October 2014 - 05:47 PM) Of all the chick talking heads, to me, she seems the most knowledgeable.
@  spamtastic : (22 October 2014 - 03:27 AM) Her career is just about probably, since she was likely only hired for her looks.
@  rwheele : (21 October 2014 - 03:38 PM) I didn't realize that was her last name, I kinda like that chick. She's dead?
@  rhamm : (21 October 2014 - 12:42 PM) Was Raymond Beadle any relation to Michelle Beadle cuz she's cute.
@  rwheele : (21 October 2014 - 01:30 AM) That's like a million for that profession!
@  Heimdall : (21 October 2014 - 12:56 AM) Agreed, 80 is amazing for anyone of that profession.
@  Minted Llama : (21 October 2014 - 12:44 AM) That was only a matter of time, he's been on his death bed for a while. Looked amazing even a few years ago considering he was still in his late 70's.
@  Heimdall : (21 October 2014 - 12:03 AM) And you're doing better then Ox Baker. :rip:
@  Minted Llama : (20 October 2014 - 11:15 PM) Life - When it rains it pours, am I right? At least it sounds like I'm doing better than Raymond Beadle.
@  rwheele : (20 October 2014 - 08:59 PM) RIP Raymond Beadle
@  LeoAmes : (20 October 2014 - 02:58 AM) I was only going to watch it because of Terry Labonte, but it looks like I'd of wasted my time if I had.
@  rwheele : (19 October 2014 - 10:48 PM) Glad I didn't drive the 4 hours up there like I was thinking about. I still chuckle when I think that I heard Barney Hall say in all his years of announcing nascar NEVER manipulated a race. :/

WTG Dave!

Unzip it into your \\iRacing\sound\spcc folder.

It will create a "JJ" folder, and everything will be extracted to the right places within. When extracting, make sure you have the option ticked to use folder names. Otherwise, everything might get dumped into the \\spcc root folder.

When all is well, the following folders will have been created;
\\iRacing\sound\spcc\jj
\\iRacing\sound\spcc\jj\fuel
\\iRacing\sound\spcc\jj\paceorder

After that, open your app.ini file, located in \\My Documents\iRacing. Under the [SPCC] tag, change the "voicepack=" line to read, "voicepack=JJ"

TY. I can't say that I'm overly happy with it thus far, though. Disjointed comes to mind.
